Studio 60

This post really only concerns one person (Yes California girl, i'm referring to you)...since no one reads this anymore...and if they do they probably dont watch studio 60...but anyway...I watch studio 60 every Monday and enjoy each episode...however

Studio 60 is by far the most disappointing show of the last few years.  The first episode was fantastic.  It was about something new.  A television revolution.  A speech condemning television and wanting to make it respectable.  What followed over the past few months have been heavy-handed morality lessons, bullshit emphasis on matt and harriet, and (most painfully) the occasional hint of excellence.

What were the last 2 episodes about?  People trapped on a roof, animals loose on state, and crazy dinner shenanigans.  Where is the revolution? Why all the clichéd storylines?  I don't get it...

I like the show. I will keep watching.  But i'm accepting it's mediocrity when i should be celebrating it's excellence.

A Prairie Home Companion

A beautiful movie that made me leave the theatre feeling high.  The high lasted for a good 6 hours where nothing in the world could get to me.  It's a movie that is so folksy and innocent that it created a sense of that in me.  Everyone else in the theatre had grey hair - so you have to be a little odd/quirky/awesome to respect the film I suppose.

Anyway - so far the best thing i've seen this year.

Wow - It's an update!  Crazy

Anyway...

1) Started my internship at the Red Cross.  I'm being trained to use database software for inputting volunteer applications...so I feel as if i'm more of an annoyance than a help as of now.  But then again, If I had a dime for every time I annoyed someone and didn't care, i'd have $56.73.  Go ahead - attempt the math!

2) I can't believe it...I saw a Pixar film and didn't like it.  Cars was boring, lacked emotion, not as funny as previous Pixar Films, and well...not worth my time.  It has a nice message, teaches a few lessons, and has a very nice vibe the entire length of the film.  It's heart is in the right place...too bad it's the heart of a guy in a coma.

3) I will provide oral sex to whoever sees Prairie Home Companion ASAP with me.  OK, not in all cases, but i'll do something nice - if not oral sex, i'll buy you a nice cookie.  I want to share the film with 1) someone who will respect it  2) someone who wants to see it.  I'm probably going next week with a friend...but I want it now.

I want a feast.  I want a bean feast! Cream buns and doughnuts and fruitcake with no nuts. So good you could go nuts!

I don't care how...I want it now!

...wow - anyway - later
